ABOUT IGNITE EMPOWER TRANSFORM (IET):
Ignite Empower Transform is a 501(c)(3) organization deeply committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community in the Duluth Twin Ports region. We seek to create the Economic Empowerment Center focused on affecting positive change that leads to a sustainable and thriving ecosystem for BIPOC communities.

RATIONALE FOR THE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT CENTER
The clear need for a center for social and cultural activities for BIPOC was the inspiration for this project. This Economic Empowerment Center will be a space that brings together resources and services for BIPOC people into one convenient location. It is being created as a response to the socioeconomic inequities and lack of inclusivity present in Duluth, MN for BIPOC communities.
GOALS OF EEC
- Empower the BIPOC community.
- Provide a central location for a wide range of services for the BIPOC community.
- Support BIPOC families who are new to the Duluth area by connecting them to services and welcoming them.
